Frequently Asked Questions

What do I need to bring with me?

As it is a ranch, please bring comfortable walking or hiking shoes or boots to walk from activity to activity. Wear comfortable clothing and bring sunscreen or a hat for protection from the sun in warmer months.

Is there food available? Can I bring my own lunch?

For event days, we will have  our Mud-Cakes Snack Bar open with hot dogs, sandwiches, snacks, non-alcoholic beverages, and more at additional charges. For adventure tours, please make arrangements with us via email or phone if you'd like to add a lunch to your tour. You are also welcome to pack your own lunch, please let our guides know you would like to stop for lunch during your experience.

Do I have to accompany my children?

Yes, children must be supervised by an adult at all times. There is no supervision on site for children under 18 years old. You are responsible for your family.

What is included in the adventure tours?

You will have access to all activity stations that are open at that time during your 3-hour tour, monitored and lead by one of our tour guides. We may ask you to choose your top 3 or 4 activities to ensure you experience your favorite options first. We will book up to 12 people per tour slot and do our best to reach all activities of interest.

What is included in the farm day events?

Farm Days are open to the public and are subject to a maximum capacity. We suggest booking in advance for entry. You are welcome to the ranch and can move from activity to activity at your own pace.

Are there any extra costs at the farm day events?

We will have additional activities such as horse riding lessons with trainers and pony rides for children that will be available for an extra charge. Our Mud-Cakes Snack Bar will be open during event days and will provide food options available to all for additional charges.

Are there restrooms?

We have two portable facilities that are cleaned daily.

Are there any indoor facilities available?

We have a small break room that can be made available for adventure tours that would provide a refrigerator, microwave, and sink.

Will we be walking the entire time?

As the ranch is over 14 acres, we will provide ATV shuttles to the different areas of the property as needed.

Can I bring my pet?

Although we LOVE all animals, for the safety of the resident animals and our guests, we ask that you please leave your pets at home. We know this may be hard, but every animal interacts with farm animals differently and our job is create the best experience for everyone!

Does the facility accommodate wheelchair accessibility?

We are not in compliance with ADA at this time, as we are located on a private residency. We do not have wheelchair accessibility to majority of the stations of activity and cannot accommodate disabilities at this time. Our snack bar area is paved and transportable by ATV shuttle with tables and chairs if someone wishes to remain in that area. Please keep in mind we only have portable restrooms available for public use.

How can I get involved?

We are always looking for volunteers to help support our Farm Day events! No experience necessary for certain stations. Please email or call us to help support our mission! As this is a fundraiser company for our non-profit dedicated to foster children, profits and donations will pay forward into more healing modality events for our local foster families and agencies.
